[TOMATINA]

"Tomatina" means tomato festival. It is very famous festival of Spain. Do you know that? Now I easily introduce the Tomatina. There are many peopele who come to from all over the world. The festival of day before is decorated with the illumination, and the traveling carnival comes to Main Street, and they are drinking and dancing. At that time, they prepare vinyl sheet, because to protect from tomato of the festival.

The Tomatina is held in Bnyol of Spain Valencia state on Wednesday August. The Tomatina started in 1940. It became extreme every year and it was prohibited in 1950, but people of Bnyorl had protested hard, it was held from next year again.

How is the Tomatina held? At around 10 a.m., the first event of the Tomatina begins. The pole that painted soap is put out in whole town. Second, the ham is put on the top of the pole. Many people climb up the pole to take the ham, but they obstruct to person who tries to climb it. The person who took the ham is called a hero. The first event is called a PARO HABON. Moreover, it is prohibited to throw out the tomato until the ham is taken, and if the ham is taken, the crowd begins to throw out the tomato. After one hour, Tomatina ends.
